There would be a lot to say about these figures.

Kudos to Turkish Airlines for its superb performance in the "missing baggage" list of winners (rank: 2), to be compared with its rather poor punctuality performance (% ontime arrivals, rank: 19). They probably delay the flights to make sure all baggage are on board...

I'm a bit puzzled by the very poor performance of Europe's biggest carriers as far as missing baggage are concerned:

Air France (rank: 20/25)
British Airways (rank: 24/25)
Lufthansa (rank: 22/25)
KLM (rank: 25/25)

Hub strategies drawbacks I guess (and yes, small is beautiful. Air Malta: 1, Tarom: 3, Icelandair: 4). That also questions Schiphol's spotless reputation to say the least.
