Perhaps a little bit more then bunk you do get 300 GP points

Just don't book the Park Hyatt after your next stay with that!
You will need 50 stays at Summerfield,Hawthorn or Amerisuites to do earn one free night at a Park Hyatt. And you won't have earned a single stay credit toward elite status

If a rate is agreeable and the promotion strong enough I can certainly see taking a stay at Summerfield Suites.
As long as one likes the standards of the brand.

I am optomistic for the much anticipated Hyatt Place.
And hope that it too becomes fully integrated into the program offering more choices and price points.
At present I am in the dark as to what Hyatt intends to do with Summerfield or it's partnership with Hawthorn. I have to believe something good is in the works. I can't think of a reason how it would help Hyatt or Gold Passport with the excellent brand standards of service they have previously achieved without some master plan for their ROI with these new brands.......
One thing for sure it is certainly going to be an interesting future.........

Cheers
