How, exactly?

The directive is that you are not allowed to congregate around any lav.
Even if you congregated around the cockpit door, how would you get in
?
While we are at it, how does taking my tennis shoes off at TSA protect the aircraft? Is there something my shoe can hide that my pants can't?
That is such a stupid policy that TSA even denies it exists. Instead, I hear that removing my shoes is voluntary. However, if I don't remove my shoes, I will be send to SS where I will have to remove them.
