I went to the airport with my dad once for his first flight in about 15 years and it went something like this. He had a metal belt buckle, metal buttons on his shirt, steel toe boots, a metal money clip, three sets of keys, and enough change to buy a small used car.
There was a large and unhappy line behind us when he finally got done. Wish I'd thought of it, and I could have just wanded him before we left the house.
