On a recent flight back from DXB my WT seat would not recline. (It wasn't an emergency row, just broken).

I asked the FA if they could help fix it. No luck. I asked if there was any possibility of moving seats, but the flight was 100% full.

The CSD was summoned (I am Gold, I seemed to get a lot of fussing over said broken seat). I was assured that, if ANY other seat on the plane were available I would be welcome to take it, but alas none existed. I guess that's easy to say when you know there are no free seats, so I can't tell how genuine that statement was. I remained very polited and I asked the CSD to make sure the broken seat was noted on the flight report. I was offered unlimited free booze and a copy of the Daily Mail..... I declined both as I had work in the morning.

I was alsogiven a comments form an encouraged to send it in.

I shall always check that seat recline is fully functional before take off on future flights!
