This compensation program has been in effect for years. I don't know exactly how long, but I took advantage of it (several times) up to 10 years ago as a student.

You are correct greatwhitenorth, there never is any "talk" of compensation, aside from rumors that start to spread in "comfort" class. VIA employees are very tight lipped about it.
