Patently untrue........the route is hampered by the fact many Canadians of Indian birth go back to India for extended periods over the winter months and in summer and that makes for load imbalances at various times. I've gone over there when the flight was empty,80 pax one trip, and returned 10 days later on an oversold flight and vice versa.
The ZRH stop has made the flight work much better for pax load balance and gives them much more availability to haul freight, something they could not do on the non stop.
