Continental's push has always been about consistency - an all J aircraft would break that school of thought. Would the cost of supporting an all J subfleet be worth it? As it is Continental in thoery can rotate any aircraft anywhere domestically since they all have a first/coach config. If you throw in an all Business First Aircraft, where else could you use the plane? It flies to Europe then back then sits until it leaves again - thats going to be HOURS it goes un used, because you couldn't rotate it domestically. Sending the plane to the west coast doesnt seem to viable either because it wouldn't be back intime, and it couldn't be a regular thing - you'd need a well sized subfleet to support the idea of an all J aircraft.
Currently the 752s get rotated to Florida, but they because they can return in time to go back out in the evening to Europe, would itmake sense to sell all J flights to Florida? I don't think so.
