NW did put a quasi-WBC in their A320s in Asia back during the SARS scare. CO wouldn't want to do the quasi thing, but if they could get a BF-equipped 73G with the right range, I can't see what the issue is.
How about the cost? Could they really justify another subfleet? If the 73G-ER carries 126 passenger, can that really compare to a 752 that carries 172 seat? Granted it about 50 seats more, but it is already in the fleet and has the range to fly 4,500 miles (from boeings website). The 73G-ER has about 5,500 miles; what destinations are 1000 more miles away that could justify 50 fewer passengers?
