Can't figure out how to caculate miles the kids will earn and if I should try two challanges or just one. We are flying MCI-ORD-LHR out and CDG-ORD-MCI back on a cheap M class ticket. I was able to upgrade them both to business on the way out but no luck so far on the way back.
Since they have no status today do they get any bonus miles or just half the normal number even though the are in business.
I figure the trip will give them both gold for the rest of the year but not sure if they would get platimum if get an upgrade on the way back.
