I spent two nights at the Hyatt Thessaloniki last Fall. While it is a nice hotel it is way out of town. Although you will see signs, the hotel does not have a Regency Club (it has been converted to a cigar bar). As a diamond, I was told that I had been upgraded and I think that I received a half bottle of red as an amenity.

Before you decide to spend four days, give some thought as to what you will do and the weather. The nearby city and the ancient battle fields will not occupy you for more than a day or two
