There have been other threads on the board regarding the Delta Vacations-"last minute deals", and IMHO, they aren't a big deal.

DL is missing the boat on the departure date for these special fares. We all know that if they were Friday departures, more of us would take advantage of them. As for offering us an option to upgrade with MSU's for a slight premium, I for one would be there in a flash!
