Folks, any time you have an international segment you can't use Mr. Chickin or web checkin. They have to see your passport at the departure airline and type info into their computers. They do this because if you are rejected at a country, the airline you fly in on has to transport you back on their dime.
Mr. Chicken was willing to let me check in for an international flight if I was willing to type in my passport number.
