Actually, I was able to persuade the powers that be to send me to EWR instead of LGA. However, unknown to me, they sent a second engineer to LGA. He arrived at LGA at 12:15; I arrived at EWR at 1:30, and I waited until 2:30 for him to get there to pick me up. I think we'll be sending people traveling to NJ to EWR from now on :-)
