I don't think so. There's a lot of talk about the confusion on the Starwood Board. I have that Amex card and it's not a Plat Amex card. Amex offered us a Starwood AMex ard with a high annual fee, etc. And the Plat isn't Starwood Plat either. It's crazy. I did thinl it was a Plat Amex card when we got it.

No this is different than an AMEX platinum card.
(BTW - my Starwood Amex is a platinum card which I had not even noticed until once a cashier pointed it out).
