I guess I am a work nut. I also have to be getting something down on the plane. The joy of flying except when I'm doing the flying is in getting stuff down. I like it because I CAN'T be reached on the plane usually. I haven't gotten to the point where I am giving people out a skyphone number yet. I just bring my laptop with plenty of batteries, and hunker down. I usually will chat with someone if they start talking, but I don't generally initiate a conversation. Who the hell wants to talk to a banker? Anyway, my two cents worth.
