MESA is NOT an "equity owner" in the New U*S Airways.

Air Wisconsin ( US East RJ Operator) did add in $125 million into the marriage to US and AWA. Mesa has seen the writing on the wall. while the CRJ isn't going anywhere the Operator can easily change from MESA to Air Wisconsin or PSA.


I am not a fan of the aircraft, but I do have a major problem with the MESA agreement that requires U*S to pay Mesa for All seats on All flight even when there is not butt in the seat. U*S posts a loss and Mesa gets paid for 100% aircraft utilizaton.
