Ah so that's what I thought might be the case on an intra-zonal/continental ticket and why my SIN-ICN-NRT-SIN was not permissible.
However, one can have a stopover within NAmerica on an AC-only award, though under the STAR regs if one included UA or US space, no stopover would be permitted?
