Thank you kindly, Y_me? and letiole. We'll only have a short time, so if we go anywhere, it's between Luang Prabang, Chiang Mai, and Phuket-- all of which would be firsts for me. Mr. Megatop has been to the others and he's eager to visit LP, so we'd be leaning in that direction. I suppose my thinking is that we should try to get to LP before it gets overrun with other people like us (touristas). Chiang Mai and Phuket will still be there, not gonna change any time soon, already been fairly well touristified. LP is still kinda virgin territory, as far as I can tell.

Is there anything to that thinking, or am I all wet?

Anyone else have comments or suggestions?
