Last Sunday Mrs. BuffaloFlyer and I were traveling CLT-SFO on an A321. We were seated in 2A&C. We were enjoying the new trivia IFE when all of a sudden then woman in 1C, who had been standing up, sat down and her seat collapsed completely onto my legs. I was not hurt and as the FA said thankfully this did not happen during breakfast (which was quite good for US F BTW a hot and rather tastly omlette!!) It scared the heck out of me but that was the worst of it...They had planned to reseat the woman in Y but it was quite full and they only had middle seats. They instead allowed her to sit in the FA jumpseat (which I think is against FAA regulations...but I am not sure...anyone know?)
Anyway has anyone else ever have this kind of experience??this was a 1st for me!

But I only fly enough for SP each year I am sure you CPs and ?United 1Ks have some better stories
Take care God Bless and Happy Frequent Flying!!
