Our words (from the member Guidelines and Rules):
Discussing Specific Moderator Actions

On-board discussion of moderator decisions - including post deletions and member discipline - is not allowed and will be removed. Members will also be subject to disciplinary action. If you have a question about a moderator action, contact the moderator directly or Randy Petersen.

Now that I understand the motive from your own words we'll be closing this thread.

And FYI, the other option was to delete the thread in it's entirely since in the mods view it was not about travel and did not seem to fit elsewhere other than OMNI. What we do know on FT is that members learn from answers to questions from a variety of members, far more members usually than just the thread originator, so the mod took that course. In this case, many a volunteer would have been glad to on occasion copy and send via PM to the member in question the answers as they were posted. There's many things we can do as member service our members when asked for assistance. But that never seemed to be part of any solution here, only criticism to have moved it to OMNI.

Please go back and re-read all my responses of how and why we have this particular policy for OMNI, it might do you and 3-4 others a world of good to try and appreciate how that forum is highly disfunctional from time to time - but despite this, a number of members like it and we continue to try and balance that with the responsibility that comes with trying to make work for everyone.
