Just to inject a note of reality here: between AA and WN, they are adding around 3000 seats per day into this market in March, and around 2000 seats per day in April and May. That's over 200,000 seats during this promo period. Mrs. Gemac and I will be in 24 of those seats. There are around 40 other Flyertalkers here who have talked about maybe doing this, and perhaps an equal number of lurkers. All told, we might take up 1,000 of those 200,000 seats.
AA guested a lot of media on the first day. Look at the seat maps for DAL flights. Remember that about 10 seats are blocked on every flight (and also exit rows, if you are not elite). These flights are pretty empty.
We aren't going to swamp them. They'll be ready.
