I looked this morning GRR to YVR leave July 20 Return August 1 signed in as Platinum and found 5 standard awards. The outbound was DL GRR>>ATL>>YVR. However when I signed out and looked only 1 standard award was available. It looked like the return trip YVR to GRR had the best availability.

Knowing that I think I would look at the multi city option, GRR to SEA return YVR to GRR, or perhaps DTW to SEA, then YVR to GRR. My ideal schedule for this trip would be to go a few days early GRR to Calgary (YYC), then back YYC to GRR. I'd take the train from Calgary to Vancouver to see some of the most spectacular scenery on the continent. I've been to Banff several times and have always wanted to take this trip.
