3 or 4 years ago I went to Germany for 3 days -- originally an MR to AMS, but my favorite band was playing. The customs guy at SFO asked me why I went to Germany for 4 days (well, I was gone 4), I first told him that I needed the mileage and then to see the band, but he didn't blink at the mileage part.
