From the email US sent me:

On US Airways and our alliance partners, your Chairman's Preferred and Star Gold status is reflected in our reservations systems and automatically printed on your boarding pass, so you can receive your benefits.

So if you FF # is on the ticket it should print *A Gold on your BP.
