Security on UK domestic flights

On BMI - no photo ID is required to board a flight. If you use your frequent flyer or credit card for ID using self service check-in then you can board without showing photo id.
On BA - also no photo id is required - just a credit card.

Is this a security concern? Someone could steal the credit card or frequent flyer card and fly. Any thoughts?
