If the posterior pax was stretched out, in this scenario, and the guy in front suddenly righted his seat the upright position, the seat bottom would slide back, potentially clunking the guy behind in the knees (or shins) -- ouch!
After reading 20 "I'm considerate" posts here, I conclude that it isn't FTers that are doing all of this rogue reclining... it must be those pax that don't realize the problems and the ettiquette involved (as someone else stated earlier).
