I get the part about not wanting to 'give up' a trans-pacific.
But what do you mean by risk?
If for example my start was bkk and it ended with scl-jfk-hkg-bkk and I decided not to take the last segment (hkg-bkk) and end at hkg. What could they do? Tell me I didn't complete the RTW that was ticketed and i owe them money? Doesn't sound right.
