Using virgin to OZ via LHR from LAX???? makes no sense. (any how is this the true-FTer route? seems to me the dumbest route to take...no offense)
stick with Air NZ or Quantas... especially if your planning to go P/F/J.
My personal preference (meaning, miles and all theother perk stuff aside) is by far air NZ. BP is unbeatable price/reward-wise...
