One of the easiest to use resources for fleet histories is run by Bill Harms, an ex-PW employee and a universally recognized guru on commercial aircraft. His Commercial Jet Census will give you most of the basic data about pretty much every commercial aircraft.

I personally have access to some more advanced databases, but those go into way too much detail for the casual enthusiast.

N3768 was delivered on January 24 of this year and is one of the babies of the fleet.
