I was driving thru downtown on I-395 this afternoon and on the side of the freeway in the middle median, there was a big honkin' boot lying.

It could have contained explosives and wreaked all kinds of havoc for the downtown DC rush hour!

Where was the TSA? After all, a car is transportation, and I certainly didn't feel safe with that shoe on the road. Better xray and swab it.
