Reward flight routing NZ - Chile - UK: Possible?
You might be able to save me the cost and hassle of a lengthy call to the bmi UK / India call centres

I'm trying to sort out an itinerary using a one-way reward using the above routing. Now, the terms of the rewards ticket says no back-tracking, but in this case, there's no choice. I'd have to go AKL - LAX (on Air NZ), then LAX - SCL (Santiago, Chile - on Varig, via Sao Paulo on Varig), then SCL - LHR, again via Sao Paulo on Varig.

Is this possible? I can't see any other routing that will make this work.
