I'm not trying to start a flame war here, but you guys are absolutely ridiculously frustrating. I'm asking for advice on what I should do, asking for help here and all you guys can do is tell me how much I fu*ked up. I already admitted that it was my fault for not doing it sooner, so how about everyone not bring it up over and over again?

<Well, the fact that you didn't take it to the post office yourself, given the serious nature of the mailing, is something that you did that day that, at least, didn't guarantee that the letters got out on time. BTW, I'm not being critical of you, I just know the differences in hotel customer service courtesies and my own obligation to get tasks done.>

When I said nothing I did that day prevented the letters from getting out, I meant nothing I DID that day. I already acknowledge what I DIDN'T do and that was go to the postoffice myself so chastising me for something I already admitted, not appreciated.

<No matter how you slice it, the damage is done and I doubt anyone here is going to offer an once of sympathy. Posting something this stupid is only going to bring out the best in FTers.>

Thanks for being such a jerk. Lets see how you feel the next time you put your trust in someone and it ends up costing you. I hope everyone thinks you're stupid too for trusting people and no one gives you any sympathy.

I want to say that I really appreciated everyone who posted to let me know what an idiot I am even after I already admitted that I should have done something sooner. If this is the best that this forum has to offer, I'm glad I don't frequent here too often.

Thanks to the person who PM and gave me good advice on what I should do. Mainly:

1. Call the hotel and check if they have a mail outgoing log
2. Speak with the FDM to see who was working that day and make sure nothing happened.

If its not the hotel's fault than certainly I'm not going to make it there fault...its only $100 bucks. But if someone forgot to mail my stuff because of negligence, then it is there fault and I'm going to hold them responsible.
