Hi people,

Typical UK Total Taxes are as follow (I think):-

Economy within EU is £15-16
Economy outside EU is £55-60
Anything other than Economy in EU is £21-22
Anything other than Economy outside EU is £75-80

These are for LHR & LGW, some airports are cheaper in the UK. Take a look on expedia for your intended route as it break off the tax cost for you.

There is a fee charged at LHR and LGW, it will be shown as UB on your ticket. It is a Passenger Service charge imposed by the airport operators in the UK for each Passengers use of the facilities at the airport. I think it is £6.40. Nice income generator with the 50m or so passengers at LHR, and the 35m or so at LGW!!

In my opinion, these are high, but then thats our greedy Labour Government for you. Just because I can afford to fly in luxury, why should I pay more tax? I'm taxed enough at 40%. Its unlikely that anyone in the lower tax brackets is going to be flying Business/First out of their own pockets.

Thanks,
Richard
