ALW,

Are you certain about that ? I too have seen the ADM directional signs hanging from the ceiling in the new YUL Arrivals Hall that have both the CANPASS and NEXUS logos on them and that lead you to the section (right side of the hall) where the 3 orange kiosks are located. I believe these signs were put up sometime in DEC 2005 or JAN 2006.
99% sure, there were logos above the machines although as you say that's not definitive. Also the family in front had a folder with a slew of what looked like my old INSPASS card (so I infer NEXUS, though I suppose they could have been CANPASS as I've never seen one). We were adjacent on the escalator down and it sounded like they were discussing (with each other) that the agent had said they could have used the machines.

Perhaps a call to the CANPASS office would provide the answer? I agree it's not worth getting into line for, though perhaps at the second step after baggage collection, if there's no one behind you...

I don't _remember_ the animated advertising signs (for parking, car rentals, CANPASS, etc.) mentioning NEXUS though.

I guess NordsFan would normally be connecting to YQB, but it sure looked to me like a connection to YOW would have saved 30+ minutes in line for an agent, even if one stayed in YUL and didn't use it.

Thank you everyone for the other information, I'm on dialup so I can only skim it right now.
