One of the ironies of this is that VS use BA Domestic to shuttle round some of their crew. I've seen uniformed VS staff on Domestic flights to/from (iirc) EDI and MAN.

I should imagine they are all on cheap staff type tickets. If VS is going to pull stunts like that then BA might just take a stricter view about whether there is space available for the staff of Beardie.
