The other direction, it sounds like flying into the US, NEXUS is usable only at YVR and soon YYZ. So at all other Canadian airports (including YUL, where there's a CANPASS/NEXUS machine on entering Canada), there no machine for entering the US?
Correct. Only YVR has NEXUS AIR entry to the US right now.
If all CANPASS machines are also NEXUS machines, and there are a few (presently 1) airports where NEXUS is available [for entering the US] but CANPASS is not, is there any reason to apply for CANPASS instead of NEXUS? Is the screening for CANPASS in any way less onerous, intrusive, or lengthy, since it doesn't affect entering the US?
