Theoretically this would be a great idea. The rental system would be arranged such that you rent a Segway at Casino A and drop it off at Casino B and you get to do this all day and night for a fixed period of time. Obstacles to this seemingly sane idea include 1) the taxi lobby; 2) Segways are still prohibitively expensive; and 3) the ******* tourists can't seem not to stand still blocking the middle of streets, sidewalks, and moving walkways.
