Assuming she's a keeper (which I hope!), why would she need it? For the first year or two, hopefully you can't bear to be apart and will be traveling together. A few years down the road, sure, separate bedrooms, separate vacations etc., but for now, ride the wave! ^

How did I ever get so cynical?

(It actually is a relevant question though. Unless she travels for business, there's not much as much advantage for both of you to have status. If you had a choice of rewards, and bequeathing status to someone was one option, while another might be something you'd find useful... it's just something to think about). (Or maybe this is the subconscious mind of a lowly 2P at work, concerned about the dilution of benefits due to a new flock of pseudo-2Ps about to hit).
