re: I've had it done before many times showing it to the gate agent processing the BP's when I'm boarding.

The thing that I'm confused about is the:
"Present it to an agent at least 1 hr before departure".

Haven't seen that before, on my documents from last year. so I was curious if it was something "new" in that I "had" to either swipe or have it checked 1hr before, not the standard checking while boarding.

I'll see tommorrow at the gate.
