Hi,

Few years ago, I was on a AC flight Osaka-Toronto with a airbus 340 . After few hours flight, over the Pacific, the pilot annonced that he have to lower the gear for 10-15 minutes. He slowed down and did it.

Even after all this year, it is still bugging me why the pilot lower the gear. any guess?
