I know that English is considered to be the exception in terms of languages, but 2 on a flight to China seems to be quite limited - perhaps even more so than on flights to Japan, where English is probably more widely spoken (especially among those flying AA) Still, there were some communication issue on the last LAX-NRT flights in C that I was on, and when speaking louder and slower didn't work for the FA, another had to be summoned. Kinda embarrasing in a "premium" cabin...
