Ouch. I've seen B/Y fares going for 3x K/L/V, making that 1.5 EQM even more expensive. If time is important, by all means. But I have more time then money... which is a good thing sometimes, and a bad thing sometimes!

This is *not* the time to be purchasing Europe tickets. If MR is your thing, 2-3 weeks ago you could still do DTW-LGW or DTW-CDG MRs on Sat/Sun for $345 or so. Now they're all gone, the cheapest I can find is $486 for late March.

But by far, it appears LGW/CDG are the least expensive destinations. If you can (or are desperate), include further destinations in your efforts, such as MIA/FLL or LAX. You *might* be be able to find the rate you're looking for, for the days you're looking for, withoug going direct. But there's some humor in an MSP-LAX-{MSP/DTW}-GTW routing...
