Does anyone know which airports might be the bare bones cheapest in the summer, and if there are any tricks like days of the week to search for? I did some rudimentary searching and found all tickets in the $1000-$1300 range. I can be very flexible in terms of layovers, days, etc.

This thread was very helpful. But I was wondering if there were any quick no-brainer ideas that some of you might have?
