Steve, you will absolutely love this chateau! I just looked at their website and see that they have 4 catergories of rooms. We were there in fall 2000 and it seems to me that at the time they only had three. The standard/superior were all mixed together....I think they must have made a few changes b/c they didn't have jacuzzis when we were there. At any rate, when I checked their site I could see the room type we had was the standard....they are very large rooms, beautifully furnished...I recognized the bathroom instantly so I'm sure that is what we had. Huge ceilings, gorgeous fabrics and our room looked out over their gardens...simply fabulous. The service was outstanding and the entire stay was a delight. As to meals we ate there 2 nights. The third night we were in Bayeux, seeing the cathedral, the shops and ate in a wonderful bistro. If I can remember the name, I'll post it. I don't recall if they offered a package for dinner or not...but the food was extraordinarly good....the service was perfect as well. As you can see, I can't say enough good things about d'Audrieu. I hope, and feel certain from the sense we received staying there, that it is just as good today. Have a wonderful trip! Normandy has such beautiful countryside!
