The phone number is in the link I provided. It's a UK local-rate service. It's what I use when I can't access broadband. You sign up, you get a number. It's as simple as that.
I was hoping for either a friendly cafe or a known open network nearby. In the US there are quite a few cities with open wifi networks in public places (like parks)
No such thing in the UK AFAIK.
