The lack of any benefits at the Helmsley was AFTER I complained to Leaders Club about the horrendous stay at the Kempinski Hamburg, and with email assurance from Leaders Club that they would contact the Helmsley directly to ensure that I received better treatement. Upon arrival, the Helmsley had never heard of me. Booking was through the Leaders Club site.

I am happy that at least membership was free. I got exactly what I paid for.
