Not quite. The Oriental has been refurbished, and it is a fine place, I'd even prefer it over the RC. I've always thought the RC was overrated.
Last time I stayed there was 2002 and was not too impressed but with the refurbishment it could have improved so may beworth a try.
The Scarlet looks funky too.
