bdschobel, your story sure has an impact on me. While my trips are limited I still exclusively use Delta for East Coast travel. I would think any frequent flyer would question Delta's disgusting pride in their rigid policy. I am surprised that it is not reflected in their customer service awards since I saw it advertised that Delta had gotten a #1 Freddie award. Southwest Airlines has not been an option for me because food has been important on my trips and I think Delta serves food on most trips.
