Any luck calling OS for your seat selection? I'm in the same boat--bought some tickets on aircanada.com but was unable to pick seats on an OS segment back YYZ. When I called AC, they put some request through and I got a middle seat, but I'd like to pick my own. I think the way aircanada.com handles Star Alliance flights stink, since you can almost never pick seats. If I pay for my flight, I at least want to have an option of choosing my seat .
